2010 Spring New Home Tour - Wake Forest NC, Home by Turning Point Builders

To paint or not to paint? ......That is the question.

What do you think?

Though RED is not the most popular color in most neighborhoods today, it has a warm feeling and most people say they like it or "kind-a-like-it". We saw this color in several advertisements in popular home magazines and "went for it". Unfortunately, the home has not sold. Ofcourse we can't be sure if this is due to the current housing market or the color.

Either way, paint is about to be applied in preparation for the 2010 Spring New Home Tour. The HBA of Raleigh-Wake County is excited to present the second annual Spring New Home Tour. The tour will run for two weekends: March 20-21, and March 27-28, 2010. Homes will be open from 12:00pm to 5:00pm.

Turning Point Builders Home at 605 Houndsditch Circle in Wake Forest, NC has been entered in the event. We invite you to come out and tour our home. We also have lots available for presale. Go to TurningPointBuilders.com for more information about new homes and give us a call to get your new home under construction today.

Turning Point Builders Becomes Energy Star Partner

Did you know Turning Point Builders is an Energy Star partner? We joined last year and plan to build all homes from now on at minimum of Energy Star qualifications. Go to http://www.energystar.gov/ to get additional information.
Basically, an Energy Star home is built to be 15% more energy efficient than a standard code built home. One of the main benefits you can expect is lower ownership cost. Energy Star qualified homes use substantially less energy for heating, cooling, and water heating-saving you hundreds of dollars annually. Depending on how long you live in your home, this adds up to thousands of dollars saved on utility bills.
Check out http://www.energystar.gov/index.cfm?c=new_homes.nh_benefits to see more benefits you can expect with an Energy Star qualified home.
